Our opinion The 360° Travel print
At AWATEHA, we pay close attention to environmental cause. That's why we've chosen this boat for one of our special events. magnificent diving destination.
L'Oceanos, as well as being a dream destination for divers, plays a an essential ambassadorial role in preserving the marine environment of the Red Sea and its precious ecosystem.
Despite numerous local initiatives, Egypt and Sudan still have a lot of work to do when it comes to protecting the marine environment. On board Oceanos, we are fighting a real battle against the harmful impacts on nature.
Our ship has adopted a policy of using environmentally-friendly products, We've also made sure that the products we use don't harm marine life, such as sun cream. We have definitely banned plastic bottles, straws and similar items. On board, you'll only find water bottles that you can take home as a souvenir at the end of your stay.
Beneath the surface, who better than experienced divers to set an example? We provide waste collection bags for anyone wishing to contribute to this cause during their dives.
Our efforts also continue ashore when we take you to deserted islands. Here too, there's no obligation to take part in a little session to collect waste brought in by the sea. However, we would ask our travellers to take care not to disturb the turtles that come here to lay their eggs at certain times of the year.
A diving cruise aboard the Oceanos, it's much more than a underwater adventure, is a commitment to the planet and its preservation.
